Matt Lale

Matt is a full-time musician born and raised in Nashville, TN, playing the keys and singing with a variety of artists around town, and also fronting his own band as a solo act. He spends most of his time with Roots Rock/Americana band Willie Pearl, also based in Nashville, and divides the rest of his time around the Broadway and East Nashville music scenes, in the studio creating original music, and playing shows on the road. Matt took classical piano lessons for 15 years growing up, and has been playing in country and rock & roll bands since the early days of high school. Matt loves all kinds of music, taking inspiration from Elton John, Billy Powell, Greg Allman, Floyd Cramer, Pig Robbins, and most importantly from his grandfather Billy Sherrill.
